It begins with a book. Story Sessions are picture book recommendations paired with activity ideas. Book selections are usually based on a seasonal theme, requests from a kid, curricular tie-ins, or just ones I happen to like. The activity suggestions span arts and crafts, big-body games, STEM explorations, recipes, and open-ended play. They are meant to be a spark - a launching off point from which you can modify to suit your specific needs (number of kids, age of kids, standards-alignment etc).
